Our OCS tour in October 2016 took us to Paris and surrounding areas for a series of museum visits. We visited the Chateau de Fontainebleau, which has been a royal palace for 800 years and includes the Empress Eugenie’s Chinese Museum with objects from the Summer Palace (Yuanmingyuan) in Beijing. We also enjoyed a guided tour of the Musee Guimet, the Musee d’Ennery and the Sevres Museum. Finally, we visited the Cernuschi Museum, which hosts a huge collection of Chinese, Japanese and Korean art.
