100 Years of The Oriental Ceramic Society

2021 Centenary

2021 marked a very special year for the Oriental Ceramic Society. To celebrate the occasion, the Society commissioned a special film which looks back at the history of the OCS.

Centenary Exhibition

The highlight of our calendar of events in 2021 was our exhibition celebrating 100 years of the Society:

Collectors, Curators, Connoisseurs: A Century of The Oriental Ceramic Society 1921-2021

The exhibition opened in October 2021 and was curated by OCS council member, Sarah Wong. It was the culmination of three years of impressive scholarship and preparation and was held in the Brunei Gallery SOAS, University of London.

Four thousand people visited the exhibition and a few highlights can be seen on this page.
